Some TV thoughts. Enjoyed the first episode of Debris on NBC. Will be interested to see where this show goes.

WandaVision on Disney+ is our Marvel fix, enjoying and have already done a rewatch.

I'm in new episodes to me of Sense8. I really enjoy this show, and the work of putting 8 different people in a scene is wonderful.

Tom and Jerry movie, while not terrible, I thought the animation was lackluster. The old cartoons looked better than what I saw.

Really enjoying Grace and Frankie. I know i'm late to the party, but Jane and Lily are really really good.

What new shows are you watching? Or Movies now othat The golden globes have peaked your interest in something.

Oh speaking of WandaVision, Lovers of Starbucks and the Disney+ show WandaVison, listen up! Totally the Bomb created a Frappuccino that has all the makings of the new hit Marvel miniseries, and it looks delicious. The Frappuccino, which is not on Starbucks's regular menu, is packed with strawberry puree, mocha drizzle, whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle (among other things) to showcase the black, brown, and red colors of TV static that can often be seen throughout the show.

Many communities and states are opening up wide, and dropping their mandates. With vaccines happening faster and cases down, it's not time to drop the caution. A few more monts of wearing that mask and being careful will really help stamp down Covid. At least wear your mask. It's such a simple thing to do.

Meanwhile

Dolly Parton received her first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine she helped to fund.

"I'm so excited. I've been waiting a while," the singer told fans in a video posted to Twitter from Nashville's Vanderbilt University. "I'm old enough to get it, and I'm smart enough to get it."

Jahmil French, an actor known for his role as Dave Turner on the Canadian series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," has died, according to his manager, Gabrielle Kachman. He was 29.

"It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of a dear friend and client Jahmil French," Kachman said in a statement. "He will be remembered by many for his passion for the arts, his commitment to his craft, and his vibrant personality. I ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time."

NASA’s brand-new Perseverance rover is the most advanced machine that’s ever landed on Mars. But when it comes to rovers, “state of the art” is a subjective term. Perseverance is running on none other than a PowerPC 750, a single-core, 233MHz processor with just 6 million transistors that’s most famous for powering the original “Bondi blue” iMac from 1998. It’s the same type of processor that NASA already uses in its Curiosity rover.

Mars’ atmosphere offers far less protection from harmful radiation and charged particles than Earth’s atmosphere. A bad burst of radiation can badly wreck the sensitive electronics of a modern processor — and the more complex the chip, the more can go wrong. Plus, at 138 million miles away, it’s not like NASA can just swap out the processor if things go sideways. Because of those conditions, Perseverance actually features two computing modules: one is a backup just in case something goes wrong.

Baseball is back (and on time this year). All 30 teams have reported to their spring training locations in Florida and Arizona and are in the midst of their first scheduled exhibition games ahead of the new season, with limited fan attendance. The MLB is planning for an as-close-to-normal-as-possible full, 162-game season this year with Opening Day scheduled for April 1.

Today's Hack of the Day: Did you know that cornstarch will untangle all kinds of knots. Rub some into a knot in shoelaces, chains, string etc and watch as it comes apart. (it's also a nightmare to clean up..don't ask me how I know)

Prepare yourself: Reese's is launching a new treat that will draw the line between chocolate-lovers and peanut-butter fanatics. On March 2, the beloved candy brand announced the "most extreme, peanut buttery version" of its iconic cup - sans chocolate coating. That's right, the snack is all peanut butter, all the time. (personally, I think you have to have the chocolate)
