April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and a distracted driving enforcement and education campaign is running through Monday. It's called "U Drive. U Text. U Pay."

New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies are participating by stepping up patrols and working to create awareness surrounding the dangers of distracted driving.

To Bodly Go Where we haven't since 2016. Paramount announced that they’ve got an untitled Star Trek on the books for June 9, 2023. Of course, release dates are highly subject to change, and it’s now standard operating procedures for studios to claim weekends before they even have a script. The truth is that we don’t know anything about this new Trek. We don’t know if it’s a continuation of the Kelvin timeline started with Star Trek 2009 or if it’s a fresh reboot, but io9 reports that it's being produced by Abrams.

Rusty nut, bolt or screw that won’t budge? Pour some cola on it and dry it off. May take a few times but the rust will come off completely. (great...maybe you shouldn't drink it)

Five years after Prince died, his estate is prepping a new album of “lost” music to be released this summer. The album, recorded in 2010 and titled Welcome 2 America, will drop on streaming service July 30. The title track was just released. Give it a listen.

Colorado State University released its 2021 Atlantic hurricane season forecast and is calling for 17 named storms, 8 hurricanes and 4 major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher). Each of these numbers is above the typical season average of 12 named storms, 6 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes.

Before 2021, if the hurricane season used up all the names on the predetermined alphabetical list, the next plan of action was to use the Greek alphabet.

"The Greek alphabet will not be used in the future because it creates a distraction from the communication of hazard and storm warnings and is potentially confusing," the WMO announced in March.

It was decided that a separate list of names would be used as a backup.

The Greek alphabet will be replaced by a supplemental list of names using the same rules as the main Atlantic hurricane season naming list -- a list of names A-Z, but excluding the letters Q, U, X, Y, and Z -- for if and when the initial list of names has been exhausted.

Never soften your honey in the microwave!! Doing this destroys the nutritional value inside of it. Instead, drop the container into a bowl of hot water. This will turn it back into a liquid state without removing the nutrients.

Baylor dominated Gonzaga, 86-70, to win the NCAA men’s national championship in Indianapolis. The Bears put on a defensive clinic from the start of the game, ending the Bulldogs’ hopes of completing the first undefeated season in 45 years. Baylor becomes only the second team from Texas to win a national title. It’s the fourth basketball title for the school, but the first for the men.

So how did your bracket turn out? Did you lose interest after the first weekend? Yea. Especially when it was really busted.

The global supply chain problems are now making their way to America’s favorite condiment. A shortage of ketchup packets has hit the restaurant industry after a year of filling to-go orders. Kraft Heinz, which owns 70 percent of the U.S. ketchup market, was caught off guard by the pandemic and couldn’t keep up with the surge in orders for the individual packets, leading some restaurant managers to hunt the aisles of Costco for substitutes.

And we learned yesterday that ketchup is one of the biggest sauces.

In 2020, Fantasia Barrino announced she was expecting her first child with husband Kendall Taylor. Now, only six months into her pregnancy, the singer shared she’s experiencing contractions and is in the hospital.

Posting a series of videos to her Instagram Story, Fantasia provided fans an update on her condition.

“Good morning. We’ve been in the hospital all day,” she began. “We have to stay in the hospital for a while. My baby girl thinks she’s missing something out here, but she’s got to stay in here a little longer.”

Additionally, Barrino praised her husband for his support.

“I thank God for my husband. He’s over there knocked out, poor thing! He’s been riding in there with me,” she said, adding that her contractions were “starting to come down now.”

“My body is just tired, but we’ve got this,” Fantasia said during the video she posted.

In December, the Grammy Award winner opened up about past struggles she’s had with fertility.
